2025 Western Rivers Flyfisher Women’s programming encourages connection, provides mentorship and sparks curiosity for the cast-focused angler and thoughtful fly fisher women.
Women’s 101 – Beginner/Intermediate - These one day hands-on courses on the Weber River will teach casting, fly-selection, knots, ethics and any and everything else associated with fly fishing! We will provide lunch, gear, and over 50 years of combined fishing knowledge.
Women’s 201- Intermediate - Join our 201 Fly Fishing Class for Women, designed for those ready to take their skills to the next level! In this in-depth session, we’ll focus on reading water, understanding how currents and structure influence fish behavior. You’ll learn expert techniques for finding fish, mastering drifts, and refining your fly selection based on conditions. Whether you're looking to improve your success on the water or gain confidence in your abilities, this class offers hands-on instruction in a supportive, women-focused environment. Perfect for anglers with some experience who are eager to elevate their fly fishing game!

Students will meet at designated river location from 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM and cover fly casting, fly-selection, knots, ethics, reading water and everything associated with a day of flyfishing. All lunches and necessary rental gear will provided.

Cancellation Policy: In event of cancellation, we must receive notice 14 days prior to the first class session. If cancellation is received 14 days prior to your class, you may transfer your deposit to another date within the same calendar year, or receive a full refund. If you cancel within 14 days of the start date your payment is non-refundable unless we are able to fill the seat. Out of respect for instructors and waitlist students, we are unable to provide refunds for seats that are unable to be filled.
