Joining one of our annual scheduled trips, hosted by one of our expert staff members, is an easy way to make the most of your time abroad and on unfamiliar waters!

Beh Kay Lodge, Mexico

Details: Beh Kay Lodge is the newest lodge operation from Nervous Waters situated within the protected 1.3 million acre Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve, offering unparalleled access to the famed fishery of Espiritu Santo Bay. The brand new, custom built 19 foot skiffs offer access to ESB's network of sand flats, mangrove channels, lagoons and bays inhabited by healthy populations of bonefish, tarpon and permit in addition to snook, barracuda, jacks and more. This fishery is known for its abundance of permit which feed in a variety of settings, both in large schools and as larger singles or doubles. Anglers will stay in brand new beachside dual occupancy geodesic domes and will dine on fantastic, high quality Yucatan inspired cuisine. Ikari House, Christmas Island

Details: Christmas Island is one of the most famed and unforgettable fly fishing destinations for a reason. Set on a sprawling network of crystal-clear flats, anglers can stalk tailing bonefish, challenge wary triggerfish, and hunt giant trevally and milkfish—all in one of the most diverse and exciting saltwater fisheries in the world. Days are spent wading through pristine, uncrowded waters with expert guides, fully immersed in the thrill of sight fishing. Ikari House offers simple but comfortable beachfront accommodations with unrivaled access to the massive interior lagoon and flats systems. This is one trip every angler should experience and we’re looking forward to our return!

Xflats Lodge, Mexico

Details: The Xflats is a saltwater fly-fishing lodge located at the bottom of the Yucutan Peninsula in Xcalak, Mexico, offering a luxurious yet casual beachfront experience. The lodge's remote location and access to world-renowned fishing in Chetumal Bay and the surrounding flats make it a haven for anglers focused on the ever-elusive permit as well as bonefish, tarpon, snook and more! April is what is considered "prime" time for catching permit on floating crab flies. Yep, dry flies.
