For those who don't have the time to do a multi-session river class or want to wait for a group clinic that focuses on learning a specific fishing technique, these on-water clinics can be catered towards learning a specific fishing skill/technique, will focus on learning where fish live and what they eat during specific seasons, and will take place on a local fishery.
*This class is meant for anglers who have taken a WRF Crash Course Clinic or Beginning Fishing Class previously, or have at least a year or two of experience, and can tie the three essential fly-fishing knots (I.E. Loop to Loop, Double Surgeons, Clinch Knot). *
*Note: This is a Learning Clinic, NOT a Guide Trip. The focus and goal of all our classes and clinics is to help our students become more independent, and capable anglers. Catching fish during the classes and clinics is NOT the primary focus. *
Students will meet up with Nick on one of our local fisheries. Meet time is determined by the seasons and weather, but the class will typically be 4 – 5 hours in duration. There they [students] will focus on whatever they want to work on and follow Nick as he breaks down each piece of fishable water, how and why he would rig his gear, approach each fishy piece of water, and will then get on the water and work on their skills.
