Used Sage ZXL 586-4

For sale is a used Sage ZXL in excellent condition, comes with original tube and bag. This ZXL has some normal signs of wear with scratches on the blank and use notable on the grip but otherwise it is in excellent condition. Rod's like this typically reside in the rotation for many who own one and this is an excellent opportunity to own a modern classic. Would be a great all-arounder for the mountain west.    

The ZXL replaced the SLT, Sage’s sweet moderate-casting line, for those with a more relaxed casting style. Being a Sage it still has to be capable of producing some real line speed, tight loops and fish at all ranges. Replacing the SLT, it is smooth as butter.

The ZXL is lighter weight with greater durability and better tracking. Differing modulus carbon fiber strands  are strategically placed up the blank, and cut differently to perform to Sage designer Jerry Siem’s demands.

The ZXL harkens back to one of Sage's classics, the Light Line series (Sage LL), with a deep reddish- brownish blank. It’s a classic.
